Without question the first song in this mix recognizes him musically with one of Heavy D’s signature songs, but I can’t help but feel that in Ben’s own special way, he was also trying to speak to the audience, “through the mix” by adding the samples from the Yazoo song – “Don’t Go” and a few of the other song selections in the mix.
